Maldonado county, with Punta del Este city is located in the in the east region of Uruguay near the Capital Montevideo. The lodge/hotel is approximately 90 miles from Montevideo, the capital of this small country.
Most commonly, shooters traveling on international flights to Uruguay and Montevideo International Airport will be met by a Blackriver representative who will assist with gun clearance, if necessary, and who will transport the group to Punta del este Mantra Hotel. The drive is approximately 45 minutes via paved highway.
Situated in the largest population of pigeons Punta del Este Mantra Resort & Casino is one of the best resorts in the world. Casino and the beautiful beaches are the perfect combination of hunting experience and gambling.
Punta del Este is the much loved and sought after vacation town nestled on a beautiful peninsula located in the extreme southeast corner of Uruguay, people come from all over South America and Europe to enjoy Punta del Este’s natural beauty and its vibrant nightlife.

Hunting
This is not pass shooting, but rather no limit, non-stop, decoying action. The incredible populations of wild Spot-winged and Picazuro pigeon provide one of the most spectacular wing-shooting opportunities in South America.
The pigeon flights being just as the sun rises, and only increase in volume as the day progresses. Every day we will serve lunch BBQ asados at the field and back for dinner at the hotel.
It is not uncommon for one confident shooter to take well over a hundred pigeons.
Average of shooting consists in 15 boxes per day approximately.

Meals
American breakfast is served at the hotel consisting of juice, coffee, tea or milk; eggs, bacon and toast with butter and delicious marmalades.
Our lunch is the classic barbecue, with steak, sausages, and salads at the field.
Excellent wines, beer, soft drinks accompany the typical meal.
Gourmet dinners are served at the lodge, followed by delicious desserts.
Exceptional regional wines accompany all meals.
Beer and soda are available throughout the day.
